Nick Gabello

Nick Gabello is currently a Principal Full-Stack Engineer at WealthForge. Nick has over 18 years of experience in the software engineering field.

Nick Gabello started their career in 2002 as a Senior Software Engineer at Collegiate Funding Services. Nick then moved to Snagajob in 2007, where they worked as a Senior .NET Engineer for five years. In 2012, they joined CarMax as a Senior Programmer Analyst.

In 2013, Nick Gabello joined Elephant Insurance as a Senior Software Developer. Nick designed and implemented a web application in AngularJS that allowed users to obtain a quote and purchase an auto insurance policy. Nick also designed and implemented a web API that received and processed customer leads in XML from a third party provider. In addition, Nick developed a customer facing portal in AngularJS that provided online services such as policy review, billing and payment histories, bill payment, and much more.

In 2016, Nick Gabello left Elephant Insurance to join Markel Corporation as a Technical Lead. Nick worked at Markel Corporation for three years before joining WealthForge in 2019.

Nick Gabello has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University and an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SUNY Broome Community College.

Nick Gabello reports to Obie Quelland, Chief Technical Office. They work with Rob Steele - Application Architect, Shaun Sandlin - Principal Full-Stack Engineer, and Donna Alleyne - Senior Full-Stack Engineer.
