Chris Long

Chris Long has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2017, they worked as a Sailing Instructor at Community Sailing of Colorado, teaching weeklong sailing camps and collaborating with a team of instructors. From 2018 to 2020, Chris served as a Research Intern at the SETI Institute, where they contributed to projects analyzing ice on the surface of Saturn satellites and producing surface maps using data from the Cassini Spacecraft. Chris was also a co-author of a paper published in The Planetary Science Journal. In 2020, Chris worked as a Teaching Assistant at Dartmouth College, conducting office hours, leading student sections, and grading assignments. In 2021, they returned to the SETI Institute as a Research Intern. Currently, Chris is an Incoming Software Engineer at Wealthfront, with prior experience as a Backend Software Engineer at the same company.

Chris Long attended Regis Jesuit High School from 2015 to 2019. After completing high school, they enrolled at Dartmouth College in 2019 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Chris is currently expected to graduate in 2023 from Dartmouth College. Additionally, in November 2019, they obtained an Outdoor Emergency Care Certification from the National Ski Patrol.
