Ivy Xing

Ivy Xing has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Ivy started their career as a Student iOS Developer at Make School in 2014. From there, they worked as an iOS Engineer at Edmodo from 2015 to 2017. Ivy then joined Dote - The Mobile Mall as a Lead iOS Engineer, where they worked from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are employed at Wealthfront as a Staff iOS Engineer, a position they have held since November 2019.

In addition to their technical roles, Ivy has also contributed as a Book Contributor for Young Leaders 3.0, where they wrote a chapter on overcoming hardships.

During their time at Bowdoin College, Ivy held various roles including Math and Computer Science TA, Tutor, and Grader. Ivy also served as an Academic Mentor and STEM Program Mentor, and worked as a Student Researcher and Research Assistant in the Computer Science and Math departments respectively.

Furthermore, Ivy has interned as a Software Quality Assurance Intern at L.L.Bean, where they tested and automated tests for a complex Web Service. Ivy also participated in requirements gathering and design reviews, as well as defining test strategies and designing automated test suites.

Lastly, Ivy was selected as a Fullbridge Participant and Campus Student Advocate, where they sharpened their skills in communication, business research, financial analysis, valuation, and project management. Ivy later represented the company at Bowdoin to help students make informed decisions about attending Fullbridge.

Ivy Xing received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bowdoin College, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.
