Janie Gu

Janie Gu has diverse work experience in the tech and finance industries. Janie joined Wealthfront in 2020, where they initially served as a Senior Product Manager before being promoted to Principal Product Manager in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Airbnb as a Product Manager, focusing on the Search Feed, from May 2019 to June 2020. Before their time at Airbnb, they were employed at Uber, where they held multiple roles, including Product Manager for Advanced Programs & Driver Experience from October 2016 to April 2019, and Global Business Analyst from October 2014 to October 2016. Janie began their career at Deutsche Bank as an Investment Banking Analyst, working from July 2013 to September 2014.

Janie Gu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, where they attended from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in Java Programming and Programming Foundations from Coursera, including "Java Programming: Principles of Software Design," "Java Programming: Arrays, Lists, and Structured Data," "Java Programming: Solving Problems with Software," and "Programming Foundations with JavaScript, HTML and CSS." These certifications were obtained between March 2017 and July 2017.
