Scott O'Neil has experience working in various roles in the technology industry. Scott started their career as a Systems Support Specialist at multiple companies, including Everyones Internet, ev1servers.net, The Planet, and Rackshack, from 2002 to 2006. Scott then worked as a Technical Support Manager at Zogmo, leading a team of technicians, from 2006 to 2007.

Scott then joined cPanel, where they initially served as a Systems Administrator, responsible for maintaining and managing Linux and FreeBSD servers, as well as implementing an OpenVPN system for remote work. Scott also served as an R&D Product Owner, exploring new technologies and coordinating company-wide initiatives, from 2018 to 2020.

Their most recent role is as a Staff DevOps Engineer at Wealthfront since 2020. In this position, they manage servers and networking equipment, implements automated testing using Jenkins and Chef, and designs and implements VPN transitions.

Before joining cPanel, Scott worked as an IT Manager at StatLink in 2009, overseeing the IT infrastructure and collaborating with a programming team for web application improvements.

Throughout their career, Scott has gained experience in infrastructure management, automation, and coordination of technical projects.

Scott O'Neil attended the University of St. Thomas (TX) from 2001 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.
