Timothy Cardenas

Timothy Cardenas, AMP, is a Staff Software Engineer at Wealthfront, focusing on exploring new lending products. They are also the President of Afford, a mortgage lender dedicated to first-time homebuyers, which was acquired by Wealthfront. Prior to these roles, Timothy served as CTO at Man Crates, where they led teams in e-commerce and logistics, and as a Product Manager at Momentive.ai during its IPO preparation. Timothy co-founded k-Factor Labs, which was bootstrapped and later acquired by Momentive.ai. They hold a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Economics from Stanford University and are currently pursuing a master’s degree there as well.
