Alex Mathers is a Senior Product Designer at Wealthsimple, having previously held the same position at Shopify, where they specialized in mobile design aimed at supporting entrepreneurs. With a background in illustration and design for various notable clients, Alex built an app called Palette Cam and has a deep interest in digital art and interactive experiences. Alex has also contributed to educational initiatives as a Teaching Assistant at Lighthouse Labs and has experience across multiple design roles in the media and technology sectors. They earned a Bachelor of Design in Illustration from OCAD University and completed a program in iOS Development at Lighthouse Labs.
