Hasan Basrai

Hasan Basrai is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and business operations within the financial technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager for Wealthsimple Tax since July 2021, Hasan has played a pivotal role in developing the Wealthsimple Credit Card from its inception. Prior to this role, Hasan served as Manager of Business Operations at Information Venture Partners, specializing in B2B FinTech and Enterprise SaaS investments. Previous experiences include operations management at Ritual.co and investment banking analyst positions at TD, coupled with early roles in equity and private equity analysis. Hasan holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and a UX Design certification from HackerYou College of Technology.
