James J. Choi

James J. Choi, CIM®, CFP®, currently serves as a Senior Advisor and Associate Portfolio Manager at Wealthsimple since January 2021. Prior to this role, Choi gained extensive experience at CIBC from October 2012 to December 2020, where positions included Senior Financial Advisor in CIBC Imperial Service, achieving recognition as a 2020 Imperial Club recipient, and Senior Financial Services Representative. Choi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto (2006-2010) and has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation from FP Canada and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.
