Lin Liu

Lin Liu is an accomplished data science leader with extensive experience in managing teams and delivering advanced analytical solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Wealthsimple, Lin directs three teams focused on Credit, Fraud, and Client Valuations, with expertise in machine learning, product analytics, and AI integration. Prior roles include Senior Manager at Amazon's AWS Canada, where Lin led a data science team, and seven years at Capital One, progressing from Senior Data Scientist to Senior Manager in Fraud Risk. Lin has a strong academic background with a Master of Financial Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from the University of Toronto.
