Max Kim

Max Kim is a seasoned security and network engineer with extensive experience in both infrastructure and security roles. At Wealthsimple, Max served as Security Engineer II and previously as Security Engineer, focusing on infrastructure security from October 2023 to February 2025. Prior experience includes roles at TD as Network Engineer, Cloud DevOps Engineer, and Enterprise Security Architect from September 2021 to October 2023. Additionally, Max worked as a Financial Technology Risk Analyst at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada for a brief period in early 2021. Max holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance from the University of Toronto, expected to be completed in May 2025, and an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Network Engineering Technology from Sheridan College, completed in December 2022.
