Gene Coppa

Gene Coppa is an experienced financial educator and attorney, currently serving as a How Money Works Educator at WealthWave since April 2011, where the mission is to combat financial illiteracy and empower families through financial education. In addition, Gene holds the position of Senior Marketing Director at Virtuity Financial Partners since November 2017 and previously worked as a Senior Loan Originator at C2 Financial until May 2024. Gene also practiced law as an Estate Planning Attorney at Coppa Law Group, Inc. from September 2010 to May 2024 and as a Real Estate Senior Associate at Ballard Spahr, LLP from September 2007 to October 2010. Prior experience includes time as an Associate at Baker & Hostetler LLP and as a Police Officer with the Santa Barbara Police Department. Gene earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA.
