George Taskos

George Taskos has over 12 years of professional experience in the technology industry. George began their career in 2007 as the Founder of Devland, where they built custom software products for enterprise businesses. In 2012, they joined BBD as a Software Engineer, where they worked on two teams, the Nedbank web treasury team and the mobile team. In 2013, they joined BugSense as a Senior Software Engineer, followed by Splunk as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2015, they joined Verisk Analytics as a Technical Lead and in 2017, they became the Co-Founder and CTO of GolfClub LLC. In 2019, they joined WeAre8 as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Solutions Architect.

George Taskos obtained a Degree in Computer Programmer from the High School of Computer Science between 1997 and 1999. George then went on to receive a Certification in Computer Software Engineering from the Technological Institute of Katerini between 1999 and 2000. In 2009, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer - Enterprise Applications .NET 4 from Microsoft. In 2015, they obtained a Xamarin Mobile Certification from Xamarin.
