John Rohl

John Rohl has an extensive work experience in various fields. John is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer of WeAre8 since 2023. Before that, they were the Chief Financial Officer of Brighte from 2021 to 2023, Chief Corporate Development Officer from 2019 to 2021 and Chief Operating Officer from 2017 to 2019. John also worked as a Senior Manager Corporate Development at AGL Energy in 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Division Director at Macquarie Group for 13 years, from 2004 to 2017. John also has experience working as an Actuarial Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from 2003 to 2004 and as an IT Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from 2000 to 2003.

John Rohl has a Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) degree from The University of Queensland, which they earned from 1996 to 1999. John also pursued a Masters of Finance (Actuarial Studies) degree at UNSW in 2004, specializing in Masters of Actuarial Studies.
