Ben Jar is a Quality and Compliance Professional with a Master of Engineering in Management and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury. They held the position of Compliance Engineer at SAA Approvals Pty from 2018 to 2022 and are currently the Head of Compliance and Quality at Basis. Ben has also undertaken various engineering summer roles, which included internships focused on automation, electric vehicle charging, and tissue engineering. Outside of their professional endeavors, Ben competes at a national level in Ultimate Frisbee, a sport that is rapidly gaining popularity in New Zealand.
