Simone Terranova

Simone Terranova has a diverse work experience in the field of product design and UX/UI. Currently, Simone is the Founder, CEO, and Product Designer at UVisit since May 2021. In this role, Simone created the product concept, recruited co-founders, and developed the product based on user experience research and surveys. Additionally, Simone collaborates closely with the marketing team, CFO, and CTO to manage the company's strategies for pre-seed funding.

Simone also works as a Freelancer UX Designer at STUX since April 2021. Here, Simone assists small and medium-sized companies in defining their strategies through workshops and provides design solutions to address user needs and business challenges. This work is mostly done remotely.

In 2022, Simone joined Nova as a Product Designer. At Nova, Simone works with senior designers, project managers, and a marketing lead to shape the direction of startups and ensure the best user experience. Simone collaborates closely with developers to ensure the design requirements are met.

Simone's experience as a Co-Founder and UX Designer at APS2 Consultancy, from September 2021 to September 2022, involves creating user-centered design solutions aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This includes developing project briefs, conducting research, and collaborating with software engineers and visual designers to deliver the final product.

Earlier in Simone's career, they had an internship as a UX Research Intern at myne. From June 2021 to December 2021, Simone utilized the double diamond design approach, conducting stakeholder interviews, user research, and validating workflows and interfaces through testing and iteration.

Simone Terranova obtained a Higher National Diploma in Surveying Technology/Surveying from Istituto Tecnico per Geometri Filippo Juvara, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Simone has obtained various certifications, including a UX/UI Gamification Master certification from Fastweb Digital Academy in October 2021. They have also earned multiple certifications from Google, such as the Google UX Design Professional Certificate in July 2021, and certifications in various areas of design, including responsive web design, high-fidelity designs and prototypes, UX research, wireframing, and low-fidelity prototypes. Simone has further enhanced their expertise through online courses, including a User Experience (UX) Design course from Udemy in February 2021 and a User Experience Design Essentials course from Udemy in September 2020.
