Bas Gevaert

Bas Gevaert serves as President of Hospitality at Planet since November 2022, leading the company's hospitality software and integrated payments business. Previously, Bas held the role of Executive Vice President and Global Head of Growth at Planet, overseeing various aspects including value creation and go-to-market strategy. Prior experience includes significant leadership positions at PayPal, ranging from Global Head of SMB to Senior Director roles focused on commercial growth and product strategy. Bas's career began with consulting roles at ConQuaestor and IBM, advising on IT and business solutions. Educational achievements include an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Additionally, Bas completed a program in High Performance Leadership at IMD in 2022.
