Weather and Climate Services (WCS), an Islamabad based company, was formed in 2019 with a motivation to provide climate services and act as a bridge to actively promote cooperation and networking among different sectors. The main focus of the company is to bring forward up to date information based on cutting edge science and policy analysis in the area of climate change. On the basis of this advanced scientific knowledge, WCS aims at providing services for support and capacity building of the stakeholders to help them in activities aimed at adapting to the consequences of climate change. By linking scientific and policy analysis, WCS provides high resolution information on the state-of-the-art solutions to national, sub-national and sector specific climate change policy and challenges.
