Eric Schofield

Director Geoscience Software at Weatherford

Eric Schofield has a diverse work experience in the field of geoscience and engineering software. Eric started their career as a Mud Logger and Well site Geologist at Gibraltar Company in 1981, followed by a role as a Mud Logging Dude at Core Laboratories from 1983 to 1985. Eric then joined Teleco Oilfield Services, where they worked as a Product Development Lead from 1985 to 2000, specializing in surface equipment and software. From 2000 to 2012, Eric served as the D&E Software Maintenance Manager at Baker Hughes. In 2012, they joined Weatherford as the Director of Geoscience Software, responsible for managing various software development groups. Eric'smost recent role was with the Department of Health and Social Security as a Disabilities Resource Planner since 2016.

Eric Schofield completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Aston University between 1978 and 1981. Prior to this, they attended Garforth Comprehensive from 1972 to 1978, where they studied Anatomy.
