Sid Bhattacharya is the Global Vice President of Digital Technologies at Weatherford, where they lead the Digital business focused on software, hardware, edge, and infrastructure technologies for Enterprise customers. In previous roles, Sid led the Strategic Engagements team globally and was instrumental in architecting transformation engagements in the Energy and Utilities sector. They also served as the Worldwide Head of Products and Solutions at AWS, where they combined AWS services with partner technologies to create innovative solutions for energy companies. Sid is a trained economist with a Master's degree in Energy Economics from Rice University and has extensive field engineering experience with BP, ExxonMobil, and Santos. Prior to their corporate career, they founded a company focused on integrity failure in Oil & Gas assets, which was later acquired by a consortium of operators.
