Heather Hunter is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in broadcasting and education. Currently serving as a Podcast Manager for Parenting with Ginger Hubbard Podcast since February 2021, Heather has been a Producer at The Weather Channel since April 2008, where duties include leading production for the flagship show, Wake Up With Al, and launching the daily show, On the Radar. Previous roles include teaching substitute classes at Gwinnett County Public Schools, providing editorial and production support at Newsource 15, and working with various media outlets, including FOX 5 Atlanta. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Georgia and a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University, complemented by a New Media Interdisciplinary Certificate also from The University of Georgia.
