Amelia Longo

Amelia Longo has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. In 2021, they began working as Manager of Client Operations for WeaveGrid. From 2018 to 2021, they held several positions at AutoGrid, including Director of Customer Delivery and Operations, Customer Operations Manager, and Professional Services Business Analyst. In 2017, they worked as a Technical Analyst and Oil Research Analyst for Genscape, Inc. In 2016, they worked as an Academic Editor on a contracting basis for Research Square. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Graduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Georgia Institute of Technology Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. In 2010, they held an Environmental and Technical Services Intern position at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Amelia Longo holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Earth and Atmospheric Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 2016. Amelia also holds a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Engineering from the same institution, which they obtained in 2013. Amelia obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. In addition, they hold certifications in Regression Models, Statistical Inference, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, and Duolingo French Fluency: Elementary (Estimated). Amelia also holds a Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org and an Engineer in Training certification from the Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, which they obtained in 2012.
