Rob Carr

Rob Carr has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Their most recent position was at WeaveGrid as Senior Director of Utility Business Development, which they started in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Google as part of the Energy Industry Partnerships Sales team from June 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Google, Rob worked at Agentis as a Regional Sales Manager in the West, responsible for sales and business development, from January 2020 to March 2021. Rob also held the role of Vice President of Client Solutions at Uplight in July and August 2019. From March 2014 to July 2019, Rob worked at Simple Energy as Vice President of Client Solutions, and prior to that, as Director of Client Solutions. Rob was also a Director of Sales at Opower from April 2012 to January 2014. Earlier in their career, Rob worked at Thomson Reuters as a Major Account Manager from January 2008 to April 2012, and as a Director of Sales from January 2003 to December 2007. Rob also worked as a Business Development Manager at Deem, Inc. from 2000 to 2002, and as an Equity Research Associate at Thomas Weisel Partners from January 1999 to 2000.

Rob Carr earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics with a Business Concentration from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1998.
