Jake Dowland

Jake Dowland has extensive experience in accounting and auditing, currently serving as a Manager in Accounting Advisory Services at Weaver since January 2020, following roles as a Client Accounting Services Supervisor, Senior Audit Associate, and Audit Associate. Prior to this, Jake completed an Audit Internship at Weaver and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio, focusing on undergraduate accounting subjects. Additional experience includes bartending at Heavenly Gourmet and serving as an Aviation Structural Mechanic in the US Navy. Jake holds a Master of Accountancy degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio, completed in 2019, and previously studied at San Antonio College.
