Antonnette Smith is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in news production and broadcasting. Currently serving as a Summit Producer at Web Summit since February 2024, Antonnette previously held the position of News Producer at FRANCE 24 from March 2015 to January 2023, where responsibilities included creating the news line-up and managing live broadcasts. Prior experience includes roles as a Producer for CBC Television, where program ideas were developed and live news coverage was produced, as well as various reporting roles across CBC Winnipeg, CBC Montreal, and CBC Windsor, covering significant news events and producing news packages. Antonnette holds a Master of Arts in Media Production from Ryerson University, a Journalism diploma from Humber College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from the University of Guelph.
