Hugh Gallagher

Hugh Gallagher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the media and events industry, currently serving as a Senior Global Partnerships Executive at Web Summit since February 2014. In this role, Hugh collaborates with global clients across various sectors, including technology and sports. Previously, Hugh has held positions as Lead Producer and Editorial Director at Web Summit, where responsibilities included overseeing event production and content development for speakers at major events like RISE. Earlier career experiences include roles as a news reporter for 98FM, a freelance news reporter for Newstalk 106-108, and a radio presenter and producer at Raidió na Life. Hugh holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Dublin City University and a degree in Business Economics and Social Sciences from Trinity College Dublin.
