Paul Lawless

Paul Lawless serves as the Editorial Director at Web Summit since September 2015, contributing to the remarkable growth of the technology conference from 400 to over 50,000 attendees in just six years. Previously, Paul held the position of Speakers Coordinator at Web Summit, witnessing the event attract over 22,000 participants from more than 100 countries in 2014. In addition, Paul is the Director at College Ball USA, facilitating sports scholarships for aspiring student athletes. Paul has also managed summer camps and established the Student Alumni Ambassador Program at Clayton State University. Early career experiences include roles in event management, hospitality, and teaching, alongside obtaining an M.B.A. in International Business from Clayton State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and History from University College Cork.
