Stephen Twomey

Stephen Twomey currently serves as the Global Partnership Manager at Web Summit, a role undertaken since January 2020, having previously held the position of Senior Media Coordinator. Twomey's responsibilities have included the acquisition of top media for events and high-quality copywriting for various materials. From May 2014 to September 2019, Twomey was the Senior Speakers Director, managing high-profile speakers and curating event stages, while also serving as the Press Officer, coordinating with over 1300 media representatives during Web Summit 2014. Earlier career experiences include roles at PHD as a Media Account Executive, RR Donnelley as a Marketing Program Specialist, and Mespil Private Equity in Marketing and Communications, among others. Twomey holds multiple educational qualifications, including a Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma in International Business from Technological University Dublin and an MBS in Management and Marketing from University College Cork.
