Steven Tobin

Steven Tobin is an accomplished data science and engineering professional with extensive experience in leading teams and driving data-driven initiatives across various organizations. At Web Summit, Steven has served as Lead Data Scientist and Data Engineering Manager since July 2017, overseeing the data pipeline from raw data processing to detailed analyses. In addition to this role, Steven facilitated GDPR compliance as Data Protection Officer. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Boxever and data science positions at Web Summit and the University of Melbourne, where Steven focused on advanced analytics and modeling techniques. Academic credentials include a degree in Computational Physics from Trinity College Dublin.
