Lixin Fan is currently a Principal Scientist at WeBank, a position held since 2019. Previously, Lixin worked as a Principal Scientist at JD.COM from 2018 to 2019 and at Nokia from 2010 to 2018, where they also served as a Senior Research Scientist. Early in their career, Lixin was a Research Scientist at Xerox Research Centre Europe from 2003 to 2004. Lixin holds both a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, completed between 1995 and 2002.
