Andreas Baer

Andreas Baer has extensive experience in the automotive production industry, particularly with the Webasto Group since August 2001. In the role of Operations Performance Manager Senior Expert, Baer is responsible for managing infrastructure for battery production, overseeing launch management, KPI reporting, and project management, as well as budget planning and personnel procurement. Previous positions at Webasto include Plant Production Manager, where Baer led a team of 200 employees and focused on quality, safety, and production efficiency, and Head of Production, managing all assembly lines. Earlier roles included Abteilungsmeister, where coordination with central quality and addressing production escalations were key responsibilities, and Schichtleiter. Prior to Webasto, Baer worked at Auto Bauer as a Kfz-Mechaniker. Baer holds an Industriemeister degree in Automotive Mechanics from IHK Regensburg.
