Leopold Gurtner

Leopold Gurtner possesses extensive experience in the fields of electrical engineering and systems management, currently serving as Global RD Manager at Webasto Group since August 2018, where responsibilities include leading global research and development for off-highway and special vehicle applications. Prior roles include Director of Global EE Systems at Webasto Group and Director of Customer Center at Continental, where management of global automotive electronic production was overseen. Previous positions also encompass Chief Technical Officer at Mepa - Pauli und Menden Gmbh, Head of Hardware Development at Frequentis AG, and academic roles at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien and Technische Universität Wien. Gurtner holds a Doctorate in Technical Science and a degree in Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering, both from Technische Universität Wien.
