Sofía Jiménez

Syed Omar Faruk (Towaha) is currently serving as Project Manager Technical Lead at the Centre for Analytics, Informatics and Research (CAIR) since November 2025 and as a Researcher at the Canadian Space Agency. With a robust background in data science, Syed has experience in high-performance computing and quantum computing, along with a strong foundation in software development and system integration from previous roles at Meta, Evolok, and other organizations. Syed holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Memorial University and has undertaken advanced training in Quantum Computing at the University of Oxford, along with other qualifications in Data Science and related fields.
