Ali Darroudi, PhD, CAIA, serves as the Risk & Analytics Manager at WebBank since 2023 and has been a Council Member at GLG since 2020. With a robust background in quantitative strategies, Ali held the position of Quantitative Strategies at Cross River from 2021 to 2023 and previously worked in Product Solutions for Quantitative Portfolio Analytics at Qontigo between 2019 and 2020. Earlier career experiences include roles at Axioma Inc., Ascend Analytics as a Quantitative Analyst Intern, and as a Researcher at the Lehman Center for Transportation Research. Ali obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from Florida International University and a Master of Financial Engineering from UCLA Anderson School of Management, in addition to advanced degrees in Operations Research and Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and Amirkabir University of Technology.
