Liem Tran

Liem Tran is an experienced VDC Director at Webcor Builders since July 2016, with a background in various leadership roles in virtual design and construction. Previously, Liem served as BIM Development Manager at Samsung C&T, focusing on the development of BIM platforms and integrating new technologies. Liem has also held positions as an Adjunct Lecturer at Columbia University, teaching graduate courses on IT advantages in construction. Liem's project management experience spans notable roles at Lendlease and Hudson River Park Trust, overseeing significant projects such as a $90M courthouse modernization and a $400M waterfront park. Liem began the career as a Field Inspector at URS Corporation and has additional experience in project management and architecture from earlier roles at Wimmer Yamada and Caughey and Van Dyke Landscape Architects. Liem earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Davis.
