Amor Kumar

Amor Kumar is the Lead Engineer at WebDevStudios. Prior to joining WebDevStudios, Amor was a Frontend Web Developer at ZTR Control Systems from September 2019 to March 2020. While at ZTR Control Systems, Amor developed features for and maintained a web app used to view industrial IoT data (ONEi3), created frontend prototypes for new projects, and utilized Vue.js, JavaScript, SCSS, and HTML.

From May 2018 to June 2019, Amor was a Software Developer at LVL where they developed a white-label video on demand web app (E2) and the first client app (Stingray's Classica). While at LVL, Amor collaborated with a cross platform team of developers, designers and QA and utilized TypeScript, SCSS and HTML.

Amor was a Web Developer at Stradigi AI from November 2017 to May 2018 where they developed and prototyped web applications to meet company needs. While at Stradigi AI, Amor created a boilerplate Vue.js app to optimize the creation of new applications and collaborated with a team of developers, designers, and QA utilizing Vue.js, JavaScript, SCSS, and HTML.

From June 2016 to November 2017 Amor was a Web Developer at The Bishop Way, Inc.

From February 2015 to April 2016 Amor was a Computer Technology Peer Tutor at George Brown College.

Amor Kumar has a diploma in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from George Brown College. They also have a high school diploma from Silverthorn Collegiate Institute. They have two certifications from LinkedIn, one in Being a Good Mentor, and the other in Giving and Receiving Feedback. Finally, they also have a certification in React: Testing and Debugging.

Amor Kumar reports to Justin Foell, Engineering Manager. Amor Kumar works with Michael Beckwith - Backend Engineer, David Romsey - Backend Engineer, and Lindsey Bell - Frontend Engineer.
