Peter Simpson

Peter Simpson is a developer with extensive experience in software engineering and research. Currently at Webexpenses since November 2019, Peter has progressed from Junior Developer to Developer. Prior experience includes a role as Junior Cloud Software Engineer at Scout Health, where Peter contributed to the development of an iOS mobile app with a Java backend and React Native frontend. Peter holds an MSc in Computing (with Distinction) from Oxford Brookes University, where notable achievements include winning the Oxford Web Applications Postgraduate Prize for best dissertation. Earlier, Peter served as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford for ten years, engaging in various biomedical research projects, and also worked as a Biomedical Scientist at The Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust, where substantial laboratory skills were developed. Educational qualifications span a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences and a degree in Biomedical Science.
