Ankit Agrawal has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ankit is currently working as a Lead Security Engineer at Webflow since September 2022. Prior to this, Ankit worked at Instacart, where they held the positions of Senior Security Engineer II from September 2020 to September 2022 and Senior Security Engineer from July 2018 to September 2020. Before that, Ankit worked as an Application Security Engineer at MZ from May 2017 to June 2018.

Ankit also has a significant tenure at VMware, where they held multiple roles. Ankit started as a Member of Technical Staff in NSBU Application Security in February 2015 and continued until May 2017. In this role, they worked on designing and developing security-related features. Ankit also worked on enhancing Ixia tools and protocol conformance testing. Ankit initially joined VMware as an Intern, Member of Technical Staff in May 2014 and stayed until August 2014. During this internship, they worked on developing a system to simulate the workload of VMware NSX's primary customers and a web-based topology creator tool.

Ankit's career began at Aricent Group as a Software Engineer from August 2011 to July 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer Intern at RoboticWares Pvt. Ltd. from August 2010 to October 2010. Ankit also gained research experience as a Research Intern in the Computer and Informatics Group at Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre from May 2010 to June 2010.

Ankit Agrawal completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Ankit Agrawal has acquired several certifications. Ankit obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in December 2019. In May 2010, they earned the Oracle Certified Associate certification from Oracle. Moreover, they completed the Foundations of IT Security: Core Concepts course and received a certification from Lynda.com in August 2016.
