Daryl O'Genski

Daryl O'Genski has a diverse work experience in various industries. Daryl is currently working at Webflow as a Senior GTM Strategy & Operations Manager since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Customer Success Manager at Webflow from July 2021 to June 2022. Before joining Webflow, Daryl served as an Advisor - GTM, Product & Operations at Open Daily Technologies Inc. in 2021. Daryl also gained Customer Success experience at Slack from April 2018 to July 2021 and at WalkMe™ from 2017 to 2018.

Daryl has a strong background in product management and client delivery. Daryl worked at iamota as the Director of Product from November 2012 to April 2017, where they were responsible for building, shipping, and marketing digital products and commerce sites. Daryl also served as the Director of Client Delivery and Operations and Lead Producer at iamota during their tenure there.

Prior to that, Daryl held the role of Director of Marketing at This Is Blueprint from March 2011 to November 2012, where they managed the marketing strategy for various hospitality and entertainment brands.

Furthermore, Daryl has entrepreneurial experience. Daryl founded Hoopla Creative Agency in 2006, where they initially started as Vancouver's first social media agency and later evolved into a full creative agency, working with national brands such as LG, IKEA, Aritzia, Vancouver Canucks, and Heineken.

Daryl also founded TextMyProperty.ca in 2007, where they created Canada's first responsive real estate SMS lead generation product and led product strategy and marketing campaigns.

Lastly, Daryl began their career as a Brokers Assistant at Merrill Lynch in 2001.

Daryl O'Genski has a diverse education history, starting with a Diploma in Marketing & Economics from Douglas College, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Daryl then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications & Media from Simon Fraser University, completing their studies from 2003 to 2007.

In 2017, Daryl attended General Assembly for instructional design training, enhancing their skills in this field. Furthermore, they obtained various certifications to broaden their knowledge and expertise. In 2019, they received the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance. In 2020, they gained the Slack Admin Certification from Slack.

Recently, in 2020 and 2021, Daryl completed a Product Strategy Certification at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
