Federico Fiorini

Federico Fiorini has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles.

Starting in 2014, Federico worked as an IT Assistant and Junior PHP Developer at SHAREIGHT, a mobile technology startup based in London. Federico also had a role as a Back-End Developer at Octer, where they primarily worked with PHP (Symfony2) and Python, focusing on building APIs, web scrapers, and queue systems. Federico also took on some DevOps responsibilities, managing LINUX servers, containers, and deployments.

In 2016, Federico joined Skysense, a company specializing in Automated Drone Systems. As a Full Stack Developer, they provided software development, engineering, and design services. Federico worked on an Open-source Web Mission Planner for MAVLink Drones, implementing ADS-B aircraft tracking and Geofence management.

In the same year, Federico co-founded td limpo, a startup based in Brazil that connects cleaners and clients through a web app. Federico worked as a software engineer, helping facilitate the booking of cleaning services.

In 2017, Federico worked as a Software Engineer at Hubchat, initially focusing on restructuring the analytics system and working on SEO and CMS. Later on, they designed and developed a Recommender System as part of their Master's Thesis.

Federico also worked at Seeds Inc as a Software Engineer, specializing in analytics and metrics. Federico was responsible for designing and developing a recommender system for relevant interstitials using node.js, mongoDB, and postgreSQL.

Federico had an advisory role at Inkdome, where they provided technical advice and partnered with the founders. Federico built the first Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), automated workflows, and developed core backend APIs, including a user-facing Facebook Messenger bot.

Most recently, Federico joined Webflow in 2018. Federico started as a Software Engineer, working on APIs and business logic. Federico later transitioned to a full-stack position, taking on frontend projects. Federico eventually became a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead, focusing on product growth and lifecycle. Their responsibilities included operational excellence, supporting other engineers, and contributing to product and strategy thinking.

Throughout their career, Federico has demonstrated a wide range of skills and expertise, including tech leadership, product growth, analytics, experimentation, and full-stack development.

Federico Fiorini obtained a B.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Scienze informatiche from Università di Trento, graduating in 2014. In 2015, they received certification in IELTS with a band score of 7 from the British Council. From 2015 to 2017, they pursued an M.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Software and Service Architecture from both Università di Trento and Aalto University. During the same period, Federico also pursued a minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at EIT Digital Alumni.
