Mike Wiegand has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mike started their career in 2014 as a Board Member and Principal Selection Committee Member at the University of Waterloo - St. Paul's University College. In 2015, they worked as a Geomatics Analyst at Parks Canada.

From 2016 to 2017, Mike worked at mappedin, first as a Graphic Designer and later as a Project Manager, where they successfully managed the deployment of software and hardware requirements for UX wayfinding solutions in shopping centers across the United States.

In 2017, Mike joined Suncor Energy as a Program Implementation Specialist, leading the development of marketing and operational programs for Petro-Canada's retail sites.

In 2018, Mike had multiple roles. Mike worked as a Sales and Growth Representative at Shopify, where they developed and implemented the first business development team. Later that year, they joined the University of Waterloo as a Project Manager, leading a research team in developing a carbon accounting program for Petro-Canada's retail network.

From 2019 to 2021, Mike worked as a Customer Success Manager at Suncor Energy, handling customer relations and ensuring their success with the company.

Most recently, in 2021, Mike joined Webflow as a Solutions Engineer, utilizing their technical expertise to provide solutions for clients.

Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management abilities, and a passion for sustainability and customer success.

Mike Wiegand's education history is as follows:

From 2014 to 2019, Mike attended the University of Waterloo, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree of Environmental Studies. Mike'sfield of study was Business & Environment.

In 2021, Mike enrolled at BrainStation to pursue a degree in Web Development, completing it within the same year. The field of study for this degree is not specified.

Prior to attending the University of Waterloo, from 2009 to 2014, Mike studied at Waterloo Collegiate Institute. Mike received the Ontario Scholar designation, specializing in Environmental Studies and Geomatics.

In addition to their formal education, Mike has obtained several certifications. In January 2017, they obtained a Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite. In November 2020, they completed the Indigenous Canada certification course offered by Coursera. Most recently, in January 2023, Mike obtained a Demo2Win! certification from 2Win!
