Frederick Ball

Frederick Ball is an advisor at Webgility and a board member of FirstMark Horizon Acquisition Corporation. Frederick has over 25 years of experience in the software industry.

Ball began their career as a software engineer at Advanced Energy. Frederick then became the CFO of Webroot Software and SendGrid. In 2011, they joined Marketo as the EVP and Chief Administrative Officer. Frederick left Marketo in 2016 to join Engagio as a board member. Engagio was acquired by Demandbase in 2020.

In 2017, Ball joined Contentful as a board member. Frederick left Contentful in 2020 to join Intercom as an advisor.

Frederick Ball received their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech and their from Bishop O'Connell.
