Joshua Conrad, PharmD, is Group Vice President of Editorial and Content at WebMD. In this role, he is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and credibility of core health and medical reference content for consumers and health care professionals across the WebMD network. He oversees a team of staff doctors, pharmacists, and medical writers and editors, as well as a large network of expert medical authors, contributors, and reviewers across the U.S. and globally.
Dr. Conrad’s primary areas of expertise are electronic and mobile delivery of medical information, clinical research design, and drug regulation, safety, and interactions. He has published textbook chapters, developed educational programs, and presented extensively on these topics.
Dr. Conrad received his doctorate in pharmacy, summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University (NSU), where he subsequently completed his postdoctoral residency in drug information. He holds certificates in clinical research design from the National Institutes of Health and protection of human research subjects from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program. Over the past 2 decades, Dr. Conrad has served on faculty at the colleges of pharmacy at NSU and Auburn University and held leadership positions at several major medical information and education companies.
Dr. Conrad is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
