Shiran Wang

Shiran Wang is a skilled Database Administrator with extensive experience in managing and supporting database environments. Currently employed at WebMD since July 2019, Shiran provides static support as a US MariaDB/MySQL DBA, overseeing over 30 global production environments. Prior to this, Shiran worked at Synchronoss Technologies from May 2014 to July 2019, where promotion from Database Administrator I to Database Administrator II occurred due to exceptional performance. Responsibilities included supporting Oracle databases and ensuring their performance and security. Shiran’s academic background includes a Master of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Lehigh University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in E-Commerce Engineering with Law from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Queen Mary, London University.
