Stephen Murphy

Stephen (Steve) Murphy has extensive experience in public health and business development, currently serving as Director of the Division of Public Health at WebMD since January 2012, where responsibilities include leading Federal sector sales and managing project execution. Additionally, Steve is the Director of Public Health Solutions at Medscape Education. Prior experience includes Senior Vice President of Business Development at IQ Solutions, where strategic leadership in digital initiatives contributed to significant contracts with federal agencies. As Founder and Owner of The Media Network, Inc., Steve successfully built a healthcare marketing agency, later selling it. Previous roles encompass executive positions in sales and marketing at North American Network, Inc. and development leadership at Half Moon Theatre. Steve holds a BA in Business & Communications from American University and studied at Bristol Polytechnic.
