Tricia Ward is an accomplished medical editor and scientific director with extensive experience in medical communication and education. Currently serving as Executive Editor at WebMD since April 2007, Tricia develops medical education programs for theheart.org and Medscape Education in cardiology. Prior roles include Medical Editor and Founding Editor at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, Freelance Medical Writer/Journalist at Thomson Reuters, and News Editor for the Massachusetts Medical Society. Tricia began a career in medical writing and research at Harvard Medical School, focusing on patient decision-making, and earlier held a senior writing/researcher position at Consumers Association in London.
