Vivian Chen

Vivian Chen is a professional product and interactive designer with a strong background in UI/UX design and illustration. Currently serving as a Product Designer at WebMD since July 2021, Vivian has made significant contributions to a medical journal aggregator app, including designing new features, conducting user research, and leading the development of a component-based design system. Previously, Vivian held roles at The University of British Columbia, where an eLearning website was completely redesigned, and Vancouver Coastal Health, where an online learning module was developed. Early experiences include graphic design roles at various film festivals and organizations, alongside a foundational position as an illustrator for a literary adaptation. Vivian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interaction Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, completed in 2019.
