Dave Longley

Dave Longley is the founder, CTO, and owner of Digital Bazaar, Inc., a role held since January 2004. In addition, Dave serves as an editor and author for the Web Payments and JSON-LD Community Groups at W3C since September 2010. As a founding steward and member of the Technical Governance Board for the Sovrin Foundation from December 2016 to January 2020, Dave contributed to the governance of a network for self-sovereign identity. Prior experience includes a position as a software engineer at xRhino, Inc. from May 2003 to December 2003. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Psychology, with a minor in Mathematics, from Virginia Tech, earned between 2000 and 2003.
