Dr. Philipp Hoschka is the General Manager of ERCIM and the Deputy Director of W3C. They were the founding Industry Lead at W3C, where they led initiatives on automotive applications and the Ubiquitous Web Domain. Their current work focuses on the "Web of Things," aiming to leverage open Web technology to address silos in the Internet of Things. Philipp holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Côte d'Azur and a Master's Degree from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. They were also a visiting scholar at MIT CSAIL from 1998 to 2002.
