Phill Jenkins

Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Steering Coucil

Phill Jenkins is a retired Accessibility Executive at IBM Design, where they focused on enterprise accessibility and compliance from 1981 to the present. With a background in computer science from Brigham Young University, they became a subject matter expert in design, policies, and technical standards related to accessibility. They served on the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative Steering Council, worked as a judge and trainer for Knowbility, and were appointed by the President as a board member of the U.S. Access Board. Throughout their career, they have been instrumental in shaping accessibility practices across various industries.
